- Page 37.--20th May, 1761. Lilley Bowen's bond (with John and Wm. Mathews) as administratrix of Moses Bowen.
- Vol. 1 - MAY 20, 1761. - (9) Lilley Bowen qualifies admx. of Moses Bowen. Maundling and Philipina Kinsley to be bound out. Rebecca Roberts, a mulatto, given her freedom.
- Page 47.--11th June, 1761. Moses Bowen's appraisement, by same as above (by Jno. Dailey, Jno. McClure, (Neaiell) Neal McCluster). . (Note: the fact that Moses Bowen had an estate appraisement in Augusta County indicates he may have had assets and/or property there).
- Page 278.--20th September, 1763. Lilley (Lily) Bowen's settlement of estate of Moses Bowen, approved and recorded--Paid Wm. Casil, Rees Bowen, Jane Cunningham, Doctor Loyd. Cash lent Jno. Bowen, deceased.
