    Mary [Nash] married Moses Belcher of Braintree on 23 May 1666. [Samuel A. Bates, "Braintree Records," Register 37 (1883):346.] Moses was born about 1635, the son of Gregory and Catherine Belcher. [Register, 60:130.]

    Moses wrote in his will three days before his death, mentioning his wife, daughter Mary Bass, other daughters, son Moses (then under age) to have the whole homestead, brother Alexander Marsh and cousin Joseph Belcher overseers, wife sole executor. [Suffolk County Probate, 8:48.] He died at Braintree 5 July 1691. [Samuel Bates, Records of the Town of Braintree, 1670-1733 (Boston, 1886).] On 30 December 1707, Mary Belcher, widow, and Anna Belcher, spinster, Moses Belcher, Joseph Bass, Ichabod Allen and Elizabeth his wife, Jabez Athern and Katherine his wife, and Joseph Brackett and Mehitable his wife, being all the children of Moses and Mary Belcher, conveyed land of said Moses, deceased.
