Source: Ancestral File. !'Early Settlers of Lee Co., VA, p. 714, reports that Moses Ball, Sr., John Ball, and George Ball, Sr. signed the Petition to the General Assembly for the division of Russell County, 1792, to form a new county. -It also says: 'Entry Book No. 1, p. 2, 13 Aug 1793: Henry Ball entered 600 acres of land, lying on Martins Creek. He also made further entrys. Could he have been a brother of John and Moses?
