    Stephens, Menzenita Ruth
    (Houser), 78, retired Wesley Medical center food service supervisor, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001. Service 10 a.m. Thursday, Lakeview Funderal Home; graveside service 1 p.m. Thursday, Grace Lawn Cemetery, Howard.
    Mrs. Stephens was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge both of Howard. She was one the first 12 members of Prairie Quilters Association.
    Preceded in death by daughter, Denise Stephens Steven; brothers, Dan House, Earl Houser, Hervey Houser and sister, Ethel Simpson.
    Survivors; husband, Gene D.; sons, Dan Stephens, Craig Cole both of Wichita; daughers, Cassandra Deming of Ozark, Mo.; grandchildren, Adam Steven, Seth Deming, Sarah Hammond, Shana Lawson, Josh Cole, Sarah Rodriguez, Chance Stephens, Sierra Stephens; grand-grandchildren, chandler, Austin, Cole, Rillie, Colton, Morgan, Dakota, Clay, Madison, Xavier, Ashley, Alex.
    Memorial established with the American Heart Association.
