Simeon Stoddard m. (3) Boston 12 May 1715, Mehitable (Minot) (Cooper) Sargent, b. Dorchester 17 Sep 1688 [sic, see comment], d. 23 Sep 1738, d/o James Minot and Hannah Stoughton, widow of Thomas Cooper and Peter Sargent.
[Note: the birthdate cited is not found in Dorchester VRs, only in Savage, and based on the Dorchester church records, it appears to be an error. If the article on Thomas Cooper (NEHGR, p. 44:54) is right in the marriage date of 1683, 1668 would make her 15, and so would be very unlikely. However, the marriage does not seem to be recorded and the first child is born 1688, so there is room for doubt about 1683 as a marriage date until the basis for that can be located.]
