Dudley's Bangs Genealogy^S1 identifies Mehitable as the daughter of Andrew Clark and Mehitable Scotto. But, that Mehitable was born 8 Dec 1676 in Boston and would not match the age at death (see Source:Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. Births, Baptisms, Marriages, and Deaths, 1630-1699 (A Report of the Record Commissioners), p. 137). An article in Source:Smith, Leonard H. Cape Cod Library of Local History and Genealogy, p. 740, "Thomas Clarke, The Pilgrim and His Descendants" by Amos Otis, identifies Mehitable as the daughter of Andrew's son Thomas [by second wife Elizabeth Crow?], which seems to fit the approximate birth date better, but no such daughter for Thomas is listed in the family listing for Thomas and his three wives in "Plymouth Births, Marriages, and Deaths" (MD, p. 1:141).
