He was born 1380-84(variously ages 26 and 30 in 1410). they had three sons, Robert,Knt.(1st Lord Ogle), John Esq. and William Esq., and seven daughters, Margaret(or Margery), Elizabeth, Constance(wife of John Mitford Knt.) Joan(or Jane) _____ wife of John lilburn, ____wife of Thomas Lisle____wife of Matthew Whitfield, Knt. In 1424 he was a member of the embassy appointed to conduct James, king of Scotland from Durham into Scotland. Sir Robert Ogle died 12 August 1436. His widow Maud was living in 1453/54 Maud Grey, living 22 Aug 1451; m. c 21 May 1399, Sir Robert Ogle, Knight, b. 1369/73, d. 12 Aug 1436, warden of Roxborough Castle. [Ancestral Roots] He [Robert de Ogle] married, on or before 21 May 1399, Maud, daughter of Thomas GREY, lord of Wark. He died 12 or 13 August 1436. His widow was living 22 August 1451.
