She was born in Berks county, a daughter of the late Joseph and Eva Reinhold Schannauer and was a resident of Ephrata for the past fifty years. She was a member of the First Reformed United Church of Christ, Ephrata, and the Ladies Bible Class of that church. Surviving are the following children: Ralph, Harrrisburg; Eva, wife of Luther Friend, Ephrata; Earle J., Quakertown R4; Mrs. Nettie Hoffer, at home; Emory, at home; and Marie, wife of William Werntz, Stevens R1. Twelve grandchildren also survive. She was the last of her immediate family. Funeral took place at the Harold E Miley Funeral Home. The Rev. David J. W. Nolt officiating. Burial was in Mohler's Cemetery.
