[edit] Information on Mathias MillerFrom "Virginia Valley Records: Genealogical and Historical Materials of Rockingham County, Virginia", by John W. Wayland, pg. 386-87: Matthias Miller, son of Jacob and Catherine Charlotte Miller, was born in Berks County, Pa. (near Bernville), October 18, 1743, and moved to Rockingham County, Va., in 1794-5. He was a Revolutionary War soldier. He married:
Matthias Miller was a communicant of Rader's Lutheran Church, near Timbersville, VA. He died in December 1805 and is buried in the old cemetery of Rader's Church. His 4th wife, Anna Maria, born 1753, died in 1815, is buried beside him. He was the father of 17 children.
