She is on the 1870 census, age 10, with mother and step-father , Abe Hockman, Laurel Twp., Hocking Co., Oh.[p 510, fam #271/274] She is age 21 on the 1880 censu s with them in Marion, Hocking Co., Oh.[ED 63, p 27, fam #249/249] She married Peter BRIGHT 1 6 Sep 1880 in Hocking Co., Oh.[LDS-IGI] He was born Dec 1847 in Ind. The 1900 census, Falls T wp., Hocking Co., Oh., finds Peter Bright, 52, farming. Wife Mary, 41, declares they have be en married 19 years and she has born 6 children, all alive at that time. In the home with the m is Elizabeth Bright, "mother", b. Dec 1818, age 81, a widow, who declares she and her mothe r born in Ohio. Her father born in Virginia.[ED 26, p. 8A, fam #150/155] On the 1910 census , Peter is still farming in Falls Twp. Mary, 51, declares they have been married 29 years an d she has born 7 children, all alive at this time. Three children in the home.[ED 82, p 5B, f am #107/107] At this time we can only account for six of the seven children.
