Brian Lewis believes her maiden name was TRACY.

Married William Bullard after Francis Griswold died.

From Harlow Chandler 3 May 2005 (email): "Griswold Family Association publication _The Griswold Family_1935 has Mary marrying second William Bullard as does Edgar John Bullard, _Bullard and Allied Families_ 1930 Neither has a surname for Mary, wife of Francis Griswold.

TAG has 1997 article on William Bullard, Register has 2000 article, perhaps one of these has ancestry of Mary."

From New England Families, Genealogical and Memorial, volume 2, p. 780:
William Bullard... married (second) in Cambridge, Mary Grissel (Griswold), widow of Francis Grissel, who "had an estate, and two children by her former husband." She became a member of the Cambridge church with her husband. Children, probably born in England: Isaac, mentioned below; Nathaniel, first taxed in 1654; Elizabeth, married Moses Collier; Mary, married John Farrington. [Where is Hannah?]

From The Griswold family : England-America, Volume II: Francis Griswold:
Francis. Came to New England and settled at Cambridge, MA, where he had a land grant 1636. He was also a proprietor at Charlestown. Freeman 1645. Served as town drummer. His wife was Mary, whom he married in England, and whose family are unknown. His family connection is also unknown, but it is thought that he had some connection with Edward, Matthew or Michael of Connecticut, but we have no proof of this. He died in Cambridge, there recorded, Oct. 2, 1652. The "History of Cambridge" relates Francis died at Charlestown Oct 2, 1652, leaving two daughters. Had a land grant of 2 acres for his work and service among the soldiers.
