Name Mary _____
Gender Female
Marriage to John Whitehead

Mary's origins and maiden named have yet to be established. Only two confirmed sightings of her have been found; the baptisms of her daughters Mary in 1708 and Elizabeth in 1713. Both girls were baptised at Heckington and give Mary's husband's name as John Whitehead. Their daughter Mary's baptism describes John as a labourer.

It seems reasonably likely that Mary was one of the two Mary Whiteheads buried at Heckington in 1740 and 1741, although insufficient information is given on the burial register to say which, if either, is her. John appears to have died in 1747.
