"Mrs. Mary (Bryan) Maltby, Taylor, Howell was living November 27, 1708, when her son Joseph Taylor made his will, in which he gave her a portion of his personal property and made her executrix. The will was proved October 2, 1718, and in the following January the testator's half-sister, Mary Fordham, and her son Joseph Fordham, were appointed administrators of the will annexed, indicating that Mrs. Mary Howell was not living at this last date."
