    Quoting unnamed source: "Mary, wife of Thomas Rice, d. Watertown, May 13, 1677". Presumes she retired there for safety from Indians who attacked Marlborough in 1676.
    [Note, that on p. 9, it says that Joseph Rice, s/o Edmund, m. (3) "Mary Beers of Watertown, who he m. 1670. She d. there, May 13, 1677, aged 34." calling into question his quoted record, and whether Thomas Rice had a wife before Anna.]
