Subject: Mary Ann Taylor Posted by: Ken Taylor Message: In her 1993 book entitled "Family History of the JosephTaylor Jr. (ca.1751-1818) and Sarah Best Family (ca. 1764-1834)" .Shari Humpherys Frank (Ogden Utah) writes the following about Mary AnnTaylor (daughter of William Warren Taylor and Elizabeth Patrick) Born22 March 1818 near Richardsville, Warren Kentucky. She was about 12years old when she left Kentucky and went to Monroe County, Missouriwith her parents and family. She married (1) 20 May 1834, RobertMcCord, at Monroe County Missouri (note: they were only married onemonth when he died of Cholera). She married (2) November 1839, JordonP. Hendrickson, probably at Hancock County Illinois. Mary Ann died 5September 1842, she was only 24 years old, at Nauvoo, HancockIllinois, and was buried at Nauvoo. Her life appears to have beenvery similar to her Aunt Mary Ann Taylor Cherry Upton's life, whom shewas also named for....Jordon P. Hendrickson and Mary Ann Taylor weremarried for almost three years, and they had one son: SimeonHendrickson. No birth date or place known. Later on in his life, hewas known to be of San Luis Valley, Costilla County Colorado

Dates are supported by copies of handwritten family register pages(presumable from William Taylor's family bible. the book also contains details on the "Julia Ann Allred branch of theWilliam Warren Family
