  1.   -April 12, 1736 Isaac Shelden appeared & made complaint that Mary Shearman an orphan child daughter of Josiah Shearmen late of South Kingstown deceased is abused by her guardian Joseph Potter & desires Council to provide a place for said Mary Sherman. Council orderd that Mary Shearman be placed with ther grandmother Lydia Potter in order to be taken care of. [South Kingstown TC 3:9]
