Della wife 26 mar@22Y PA-PA-PA Dorothy dau 2 2/12 PA-PA-PA Russell E son 8/12 PA-PA-PA Obituary: New Castle News, New Castle, Lawrence Co, PA, Dec. 20, 1976, p 3 Mrs. Della Shelenberger Helle, 73, of Eighth Street, West Pittsburg, died at 12:45 a.m. Dec. 20, 1976, in Elwood City Hospital after a year of illness. She was born in Rochester, Pa., on July 4, 1903, to the late Alfred and Nannie Shellenberger. Mrs. Helle was a member of West Pittsburg United Methodist Church, the Women's Society of the church, and played piano at the church for many years. Note: Her husband Thomas V. Helle died in 1969. She is survivied by two sons, Russell E. of New Middletown, Ohio, and Robert D. of Beaver Falls; a daughter Mrs. Gaylord (Dorothy) Jones of West Pittsburg; a sister Miss Roberta Shellenberger of RD 4, Wilbert Shellenberger of New Castle, and Harold Shellenberger of New Bedford; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Robert A. Myers Home for Funerals, 208 N. Jefferson St., from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Alvin Musselman, retired minister of the United Methodist church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. |
