    "In the name of God amen. I Mary Newman, widow of George Newman dec'd., being in a low state of health and find that old age is drawing fast upon me but of perfect mind and memory, leave this as my last Will and testament in manner and form following. I do give and bequeath of my wright of dower arising or that may arise from the estate of George Newman my deceased husband, also of the money due me from William Newman my son, and that may acrue to me for my services with him for twenty four years and six months service, an equal part namely to William Newman, Christopher Newman, Samuel Newman, George Newman, Nathaniel Newman, John Newman, Sarah Newman late Sarah Cannon, Hannah Newman late Hannah Blew, Catherine Newman late Catherine Blew, Mary Newman late Mary Curry, I do give and bequeath all of the right title and claim of my dec'd husband's estate that may acrue and also that may acrue from William Newman my son, for my services with him, an equal divide in perportion to what they have received except Hannah Newman late Hannah Blew, of which I consider she hath receved a full pottion by living on my right of dower and twenty five dollars reduced out of Nathaniel's share for which he hath recieved of me the aforesaid Mary Newman. Hannah Blew shall receive nothing but the interest of my right of dower sold to Richard Blew her husband, and the said Richard Blew to pay over money due me for my right of dower to my administer for a division amongst the rest of my heirs, also a certain sum struck of and set apart from my legacy to Catherine Newman late Catherine Blew, for my maintenance and burial, the same to be judged by three disinterested men if required, to John M. Blew whom i hereby appoint sole executrix of this my Last Will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof, i have hereunto set my name and seal the twenty seventh day of Oct in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight. Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Mary Newman to be her Last Will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscrbed our names as witnesses in the presence of the testator;" Mary (X) Newman (her mark) test.
