By 1704 Mary married Samuel Smead, 17 March 1699 in Deerfield, and she was the mother of two little children. Mary Price Smead, along with two of her children, Sarah, and William, were smothered in the cellar of their burning house during the Deerfield Massacre, 29 Feb 1704[2]
