Charles E. Nickles died in Riverside, CA 3/30/1951. He was married 8/22/1893 to Mary Elizabeth Newell (b. 1/18/1874, d. Riverside, CA 9/24/1962) . They had three children other than the infant Paul (who we did not know about) They were:

m. Zelda Lucile Bash b. 1894, d. 11/5/1981 [per H.N]
2. Herbert Leslie Nickles b.6/16/1902 d. 10/21/1987
m. 1929 Hilda L Williams (11/8/1906 - 2/3/1964) [per H.N.]
3. Mary (Jane) Nickles b. Dover, OH, 6/16/1905 d. Laguna Hills, CA, 8/21/1979
m. 6/10/1934 Theodore P. Eberhard (8/1/1904 - 8/7/1960)
The only Nickles' pictures that I have is a tintype of Charles E. as a boy and ones of Jacob's wife Anna Link and HER parents. And we know that Jacob was a shoemaker because we have a penknife that must have been an advertising tool. It has his name along with the picture of a boot on one side and a small figure of a cobbler on the other.
