After looking at the various tidbits of data about the MANNING/CROWLEY families, I lean toward Mary being a MANION, not an errant MANNING. The linkage to Patrick F. CROWLEY would seem to connect her to that family by marriage, not by blood. I could still be wrong ont this, but for now I will link Mary as a spouse, not a daughter, to the CROWLEY’s.
