Personal History
Mary Kittredg(e), first daughter of Daniel Kittredg and Elizabeth (Foster), was born 1 10mo. [Dec.] 1695, in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[2][3] She died 19 September 1769, in the same place,[4][5] and was buried in South Cemetery.[6]
Samuel Peacock and Mary Kittredg were married 5 February 1718/9, in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay, by Rev. Samuel Ruggles. The births of their children appear in the town records of Billerica.
In 1742, for her dower, she was granted about 28 acres, the use of the lower room in the dwelling house, one third of the cellar, and the east end of the barn. After her death, the dower was distributed to their grandchildren in 1771.[8]
Intention of marriage was published in April 1742, in Dracut, Province of Massachusetts Bay, for Ephraim Curtis and Mary Peacock of Tewksbury. They were married 19 August 1742, in Tewksbury.
Intention of marriage was published 30 October 1766, in Dracut, Province of Massachusetts Bay, for Jacob French of Billerica and Mrs. Mary Curtis. They were married 19 November 1766, in Billerica, by Wm. Stickney.
