acc to Elaine HESKETT, great granddaughter of Mary Ann & John...In 1857 (after their mother died) Marianne emigrated (with a brother and sister) to Cobourg area of Ontario where other relatives were already living...and later to IL & KS. 

1857 -1865  worked as housemaid in Cobourg.

When she & her family crossed over from Canada , she met her husband at the Ferry in Detroit, Michigan and then they married there.

She was a Presbyterian.

Corey had deathdate of just year 1922 for Mary Ann/Marianne but deathdate of 1920 (provided by Elaine HESKETT) is more likely to be correct as that is her family line.
