Mary was a legatee in the 1621 will of her brother, John Ensign, who bequeathed her 40 shillings of money. She was a legatee in the 1631 will of her father, Thomas Ensign who bequeathed her five pounds of money. Following her death, her husband, Robert Couchman married [2nd] at Cranbrook, Kent, 24 March 1641/42, to Katherine [Bottinge] Dorley, the widow of Henry Dorley of Cranbrook, Kent.
