    Vagrancy
Two females, one with an infant in arms, of the respective names of Mary Ann Williams and Mary Ann Dutton, were charged by a person named Michael Clarke with being idle and disorderly characters, and with creating such disturbances near his residence in Great Myers-street, as ti be considered an intolerable nuisance to all the neighborhood, particularly on Saturday night last, the 15th December, when they were found brawling in the street and quarrelling with some companions of the other sex.
Dutton stated that the other female lived with her as a nurse -girl. That on Sunday evening her husband, after having given her £3 in notes, tried to get the money back from her for the purpose of spending it in drink, which she resisting caused the brawl in the street now complained of. VAGRANCY
Charged with Mary Ann Dutton - described as a nuisance to all in the neighborhood. Dutton lived with Williams as a nurse-maid. The pair had been charged by Michael CLARKE for fighting in the street after Williams had been given 3 pounds from her husband, and attempted to get it back for drink. Reprimanded and discharged. Reference number: npb007

This is incorrect as it appears that the author has mixed up Mary Ann Willimas with Mary Ann Dutton, Dutton being the employer rather than the nursemaid.

[Mary Ann's daughter is taken away from her after she was found at the brothel where her mother]
  14. We know that Mary Ann got married for a second time 3 years before she died. However according to her daughters "records" she had taken up with a man call "Edwards". From this I take it she hadn't yet married him.
