This tree (created by a direct descendant) includes this note:
"In every census from 1851 through 1901 Mary gives her birthplace as either Hutton or Hutton Cranswick. This appears to have been her belief, but in fact her parents moved to Hutton Cranswick soon after her birth. She was actually born and baptized in Kirkburn."

This tree has an image of her death registration, showing that Mary Lawson, widow of Robert Lawson (labourer), died at 22 Middle Street N, Driffield on 15 May 1891, age 76

  3. Note that census records and her death record imply that she was born about 1815 (1814-1816). Possibly the Mary Cook baptized in 1812 died and another was born about 1814 - in which case her baptism record appears to be missing. She had a sister (Sophia) baptized 24 Jan 1816 in Hutton Cranswick, so she couldn't have been born as late as that.
