Worden, 72, formerly of Grant, died yesterday after a long illness in the Eastern Star Home, Oriskany. She was born March 12, 1888, in Clinton, the daughter of Thomas W. and Ellen Clark Clifford. She was married to Charles Worden. She lived in Boonville for 20 years and later in Prospect. Her husband died in 1943. For the past seven years she had lived at the Eastern Star Home. Mrs. Worden taught for many years at Grant. She was a member of Boonville Methodist Church, Salma Chapter 193, OES, of Boonville, and a former member of Oriental Rebekah Lodge IOOF, also of Boonville. She leaves a brother, Thomas Clifford, of Grant, and a niece, Mrs. E.S. Cookinham of Poland. The funeral will be... tomorrow from the Howard H. Wells Funeral Home... Whitesboro, where Salma Chapter will conduct ritualistic services. The Rev. Frank T. Bennetts, pastor of Whitesboro Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. References
