BIOGRAPHY: Mary Bliss Parsons was a proud and capable woman of strong character and haughty demeanor. This with the fact that her husband was one of the wealthiest men in Northampton made her the envy of many and several times she was accused and tried of being a witch both in Northampton and Boston. However she was able to successfully defend herself in every case.
