Information on Martha Work

This article is for the Martha Work who married Robert Houston. Evidence for Martha Work's parents is needed. She is commonly said to be the daughter of Henry Work, but evidence for this is lacking. Henry is known to have had a daughter Martha, but she is believed to have married a John Sterrett, who died in 1748. It is difficult to see how she could have married Robert Houston in 1736.
