Note: Her obituary (unknown newspaper, undated) says she was born 5 Sep 1841, died 24 Jan 1917, aged "75 years, 4 months, and 19 days" -- which also works out to 5 Sep 1841. The 1850 census lists her as 9 yrs old & the 1860 census as 19 yrs, which corroborates this. The birth date on her grave marker is also "1841."

The birth date on her death certificate is only semi-legible, but appears to say she was born "1845" (or possibly 1842, or 1846). The informant is her son, Charles Wesley Harrison, who probably would know his mother's birth year as well as anyone in the family.
