Samuel and Miriam... it may be of some interest to know by the church register at the present town of Old Lyme that they were married by Rev. Jonathan Parsons, Feb'y 1, 1738, O. S., or Feb'y 12, 1739, N. S.; and by a record at Norwich that their children were: Mary, born Aug. 17, 1740; Samuel, July 30, 1743; Elisha, July 27, 1745; Martha, Oct. 25, 1747; Asa, April 11, 1750; David, June 22, 1752; Nehemiah, Feb'y 29, 1756. Samuel's last land-sale at Norwich was May 11, 1761, to Jabez Huntington and Benjamin Lord Jr. From that time his home was by the Basin of Minas,--perhaps the house and farm of Benoit Bellefontaine.-- The youngest of these three Samuels was son of Elisha, while Elizabeth and Mary Ann were not his sisters but his daughters.

Martha was married to Barnabas Tuthill [Tuttle?] Lord September 6, 1765 in Cornwallis Twp, Kings, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was born March 31, 1744 in Lyme. A Barnabas Tuthill's will, dated 18 Feb 1783 was filed in New York [doubtful as a well known family was in Suffolk Co, NY].
