According to Florence A. Christoph (see Source Citation 2), the second child of Coert Stevense van Voorhees and Marretje van Couwenhoven was Aeltie Coerte van Voorhees, married to Joost Rutgerse van Brunt 16 Apr 1687.

Also, Marretje Coerte van Voorhees; born circa 1674. E. Van Voorhis, The Van Voorhees Family mistakenly identifies her as the wife of Jacob Remsen whose wife was Martje Janse Damen. [p. 4]

Aeltie Coerte van Voorhees; born circa 1668 at Flatlands, Kings Co., NY, married Joost Rutgerse van Brunt 16 Apr 1687 at Ref. Ch., Flatbush, Kings Co., NY; he is listed as young man born at New Utrecht and residing there, she as young girl from New Amersfoort and residing there. Bergen Early Settlers of Kings County and The Van Voorhees Genealogy 1888 say that this was the second marriage for Aeltie, however this marriage record proves otherwise, since she is listed as "young daughter," meaning an unmarried girl; died 12 Nov 1746.
