  3.   TAG, Vol. 34, p. 210, "John Harding of Boreham, Essex" by George E. McCracken, lists the children of Abraham Harding and Mary Mason, including: "2. Mary, b. 25 Aug. 1687, d. 16 Sept. 1709 unless she was the Mary who m. 31 Oct. 1707 Ebenezer Daniels." This seems like a strange statement.
The article says the father Abraham d. 1741, but the will probated that year (here) is clearly for a different Abraham, as it names different children than shown in the article. The article has plainly confused the father of this Mary with another Abraham, who happened to also have a wife named Mary (nee Mary Partridge). The Mary whose death record in 1709 confused McCracken because she was labelled d/o Abraham and Mary, was the infant daughter of this other Abraham, not the Mary born in 1687.
Instead, the will of the actual father (here), was dated 19 Dec 1718 (the testator claiming to be 63, so born about 1655), proved 19 Nov 1734, names daughter Mary Daniels. He also names his widow Sarah, reflecting a marriage apparently unknown to McCracken.
