Marie-Josèphe GODIN dit LINCOUR, born around 1744, daughter of Jean-Baptiste (10) & Anastasie BOURG.

Note iii: Marie-Josèphe GODIN, wife of Pierre ARSENEAU and of Basile PRÉJEAN, figures in the censuses of 1766, 1769, and 1777 as Marie LINCOUR. She carries this surname in the baptismal act of her daughter Émilienne PRÉJEAN (Register of St. James of Cabahannocer 2 Feb 1780). Seeing that this surname belongs originally to Jean-Baptiste GODIN dit LINCOUR, we conclude that Marie-Josèphe must be his daughter.
