    The editors compared Quebec Passenger Lists to Hamburg, Germany Passenger Lists, and where the information was different, included the Hamburg information in square brackets [ ]. B1843-B208 refers to Bergthal Gemeinde Buch, page B208. Schoensee/ER refers to a village in the Mennonite East Reserve in Manitoba, Canada.

    The name of the first child should be Johann, not Jacob.
