“In the yeare 168[?] & in the 11th month & on the 12th day thereof Jane the wife of Nicolas Wallne boare him a daughter & he called her Margeret”. In the register the year was originally written “1679”, but was then corrected. The third digit was obviously changed from a 7 to an 8, but the fourth digit is not clear. It probably should have been 1680, but could have also been 1681.
