1754 - The North Lopham burial register records the burial of "Margaret wife of Edmund WOMACK". Arthur Campling incorrectly assumed that this referred to the Edmund of the previous generation. However, the dates involved make this implausible. Edmund's father, Edmund, had died in 1751 so there was no need to refer to this one as "junior". Also, Margaret is referred to as "wife" rather than "widow", which would have been the case if Campling's assumption was correct.
