Margaret "Peggy" Dugger was born 22 May 1798 (per tombstone) in Carter Co, TN. She apparently never married. She was listed on the 1850 census in Carter Co, TN (though most of her siblings, etc. were in Johnson Co, TN then). She was listed next to her 1st cousin Thomas Dugger. She had two young men with her, relationship unknown. They were probably hired laborers.
Margaret was named in the Will of her brother William Dugger (1784-1875) written in 1872 as "my sister Margaret Dugger." Margaret died 20 Apr 1876 (per tombstone). She is buried at the Pierce-Campbell Cemetery.
