- Pg. 396 - 3 June 1814 - Simon Key to Mansfield Hatfield, for $400, 100 acres on west fork of Bays Fork, being part of military tract of 200 acres in name of William Rice, the place where Key now lives and including where Hatfield now lives. Wit: Johnson Ellis, John Ray. Ack. of Polly Key (relinq. dower) before said Ellis and Ray, 2 JP's said county. [Source: Warren County Kentucky Deed Book F-6, 1812-1814].
