Proved: November, 1821
In the name of God Amen; I Magdelan Reynolds of the county of Botetourt and State of Virginia being sick and week in Body but of Sound mind and disposing Memory for which I thank God. And calling to mind the uncirtanity of human life and being desirous to dispose of all Such Worldly Estate as it heath pleased god to Blis me with I dwo hereby Make this My last will and testement in Manner and form following:
That is to Say first I recommend My Sole to God Who gave it and My Body to the earth to be Buried in a christian like Manner at the discrition of My Executors here after to be Named-
Secoundly I allow all My lawful Debts to be lawfully paid by My Exectors after My Decease -
and thirdly, I allow My grand Daughter Ann Reynolds Daughter of William Reynolds My Son My Best feather Bed & furniture, Beadstead al, My Spinning Wheel to be Enjoyed by her for ever -
and fourthly I allow Jane Reynolds My Read Cow to be Injoyed by her for ever -
and Fifthly I allow all the Ballance of My property to be Sold as Soon after My Decease as posible and My Debts and funeral Expences paid and the Balance if any to be Equally divided between James Reynolds, Thomas Reynolds, John Reynolds, Ann Givens, Fany Taylor, William Reynolds
My Children Share and Share and Share allick, and I do appoint My Son William Reynolds My Exeor. of this My last will and testament hereby revoking all others heretofore by Me Made & this is to be taken for my last will and testament in witness hereof I have hereunto Set My hand and Seal this 30th day of august in the year of our lord one thousand Eight hundred & twenty one.
