    Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the First Christian Reformed Church for the late Mrs. Lysje Buizer, who passed away Friday at her home. The Rev. Edward Joling and the Rev. P Jonker conducting the services in the presence of a large gathering of friends. Mrs. Buizer was born in Holland Nov. 13, 1852. She came to America thirty-one years ago, and had made her home in the Lynden district for nine years. She leaves to mourn her loss six sons and daughters: C. Ooms of Griffith, Indiana, William Ooms, Miss Cornelia Buizer, Arthur Buizer, Mrs. Ben Hendricks and Mrs. Cornelius Buizer, all of Lynden.
