Lydia and her husband John were involved in the Salem witch trials in 1692. They testified at court against Goody Bibber, who had accused Sarah Wildes of bewitching her. Lydia's father, Henry Herrick, served as a juror during those same trials.

  4. The Find A Grave memorial gives her birth as 26 Sep 1661, but this is clearly a corruption of her baptism to make it match the age at death, and is invalid. There is no birth record found.
