    Deacon Jonathan Tenney … his second wife, Mrs. Lydia (Hale) Perley, … daughter of
    Joseph and Widow Joanna Dodge Hale. She married first Nathan Perley of Boxford, 20 March, 1732-3, who died in February, 1739. Her only Perley child who survived was Nathan Perley, who settled on Scotland Hill in Haverhill. Mrs. Lydia Tenney united with the church 18 January, 1740. She died 6 June, 1803, aged ninety-two years. To her memory a decorated slate tablet may be seen in the family lot at Groveland cemetery.
