Obituary

  Mrs. Lulu Crum Dies After 5 Years' Illness - Mrs. Lulu Crum, wife of Austin Crum, a lifelong resident of Canfield township, died at her home near Cornersburg at 9 p.m. Saturday of diabetes following an illness of nearly five years.  She was born in Canfield township May 9, 1871, a daughter of Nelson and Catherine S. Strock and had resided in the near vicinity of her nativity her entire life, being widely known and highly regarded and revered by a vast legion of friends in that vicinity.
  A devoted member of the Cornersburg Lutheran church, Mrs. Crum had for years taken a prominent part in all church activities.  She was married 31 years ago and beside her husband is survived by two children: Capitola and Paul Crum, both at home.  A brother and sister survive: Clyde Corll, Canfield and Mrs. Fred Grier, city.
  Funeral services will be held at the home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and at the Lutheran church at Cornersburg at 2 o'clock with Rev. W. J. Kratz officiating. Burial in the Lutheran cemetery at Cornersburg.
