Kay (Bellman) Braught said that she was a jolly outgoing lady who loved children and her church. She traveled from Indiana to Nebraska with her family at age 6; was a pioneer in the mid-1920s from Iowa to the newly oopened area of theRio Grande Valley of TX in a model A Ford. It is natural to wonder why the delay after marriage to begin having children in this family. Following her death in Iowa, her body was transported by jet and buried in the TX "valley" (McAllen).
