    Obituary
    Lucy R. Duree was born March 4, 1832 in the state of Indiana. She was married to G. W. Fields, May 1, 1851 and moved to Missouri in 1856.
    To this union were born twelve children, ten of whom survive her, namely: Jane Scott of Liberty, Mo., Amanda Stoneking, Alice Smith, and Eliza Duncan of Lucerne, Emina Howard and Mary Simmons of Oklahoma, Lucy Scott of Powersville, J. D. Fields of Jamesport, Mo., George S. Fields of Idaho, and A. J. Fields of Newtown with whom she, with her husband had lived since May 4, 1904. Her husband having died Oct. 27, 1908. She united with the Christian church when a girl and with her husband put her membership in the Christian church at Lucerne in 1908.
    A short Service was held at the A. J. Fields home, after which the remains were conveyed to Lucerne, where the funeral was conducted by Rev. J. A. Newland. The remains were laid to rest in the Lucerne cemetery. The relatives have the sympathy of all their friends in their bereavement.
