Lucy Turner was baptised on 29th May 1774 at Heckington in Lincolnshire, daughter of Elizabeth Turner, formerly Gray, and her husband Philip Turner, a farmer.

She was married on 30th March 1797, aged 18, to a farmer named John Creasey from the neighbouring parish of Great Hale. Their marriage was reported in the Gentleman's Magazine under the heading "Marriages of remarkable Persons". They have yet to be researched after their marriage.
