    Mrs. Quade, 71, Dies at Home

    Funeral Services for Mrs. Louise Quade, 71 years old, who died last Thursday, were conducted at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Christian church. The Rev. Tom Proctor conducted the rites. Burial was in Evangelical cemetery at Stotts City under direction of Sharp and Selvey Mortuary.

    Mrs. Quade died unexpectedly at her home here last Thursday morning.

    Pallbearers were Massie York, Ben Gentry, Newt Sunderland, Worth Dudgeon, Arthur Quade and Carrol Fitchpatrick.

    Music was furnished by Renick Motley, Clarency Johnson, Herschel Roper, Walter Fullerton and Floyd Curnutt.

    Mrs. Quade was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Buhrmann. She was born November 30, 1877, on a farm near Stotts City. She was married April 4, 1902 to Fred Quade who died in 1926.

    Survivors include two sons Ben Quade and Theodore Quade of Carthage; six daughters, Mrs. Laura Jung and Mrs. Wanda Simmons of Jasper, Mrs. Edith Beerly and Mrs. Lenna Fitchpatrick of Golden City, Mrs. Anna Simmons of Liberal and Mrs. Ophelia Baker of Carthage; a brother, Tafiel Buhrmann of Stotts City; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Fieker and Mrs. Minnie Kleine of Mount Vernon; 27 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Quade was a member of the Presbyterian church.
