    Louisa Lower, daughter of John & Prudence Lower, was born near Rushville, Ind., Mar. 15, 1826, and came with her parents to Iowa in 1843, to Van Buren County. In the spring of 1845, they came of Monroe County. She married the Hon. O.P. Rowles, Dec. 7, 1845. She died July 20, 1911, leaving four children: Mrs. P.E. Enix, W.A. & J.H. Rowles & Mrs. J.G. Pierson; also a brother, T.S. Lower.
