In her later years Lola suffered from what was then called "shaking palsy." She would hold children on her lap and her shaking made them think she was giving them a "horsey ride." It always made both laugh. Lola died at 9:40 a.m. in Elyria Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She had been cared for by one of her sons in Grafton for the past 4 years. Her remembrance card from the funeral misspells "Fenwick as "Penwick." Documents, obituaries, family letters and photos on file.
